Noritake Ito joined Yoshikawa Law Firm in March 2026.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Ito worked at Rakuten Group, Inc. and at a major Tokyo law firm. His practice has centered on legal issues relating to IT services — including competition law, consumer protection laws such as the Premiums and Representations Act, personal data protection, requests for disclosure of sender information, the Travel Agency Act and payment services regulations — and, as an in-house lawyer, he supported the launch of numerous services. He has also handled a wide range of corporate matters, including corporate and M&A, responses to activist shareholders, international matters, crisis management, litigation and dispute resolution, and tax audits.
With Mr. Ito joining, the firm will provide even more comprehensive legal services in corporate law, including in the IT sector.
